Approved Phones - What phones are permitted in school
1. What is an approved phone?
Students in Years 7–11 may bring a basic mobile phone that:
✔ Makes calls
✔ Sends and receives text messages
✘ Has no internet access
✘ Has no camera (front or rear)
✘ Has no social media capability
✘ Has no smartphone functionality
Phones must be switched off and out of sight at all times during the school day.

3. Phones that are not allowed
The following are not permitted:
iPhones
Samsung Galaxy smartphones
Google Pixel phones
Any smartphone, regardless of parental controls
Smartwatches with messaging capability
Phones with cameras, even if data is disabled
Please note: disabling internet or removing apps does not make a smartphone compliant.
