A visit to the Tate Modern with Year 11 students as part of their exam unit, providing them with the opportunity to experience world-class contemporary and modern art first-hand and to deepen their understanding in preparation for their assessed coursework.

Year 13 students also attended as part of their coursework development, using the visit to support their independent projects through direct engagement with original artworks. 

Throughout the day, students explored a wide range of exhibitions and installations. The visit proved highly valuable for both year groups, strengthening their analytical skills and enriching their creative development, while also offering a meaningful insight into the contemporary art world.
