Greenhouse and CVC Employability Session at Oaklands

During the summer holidays, Oaklands welcomed CVC Capital Partners, one of Greenhouse’s valued partners, to Oaklands for a special employability session. Students took part in an afternoon of table tennis and basketball, led by professional coaches Mitch and Dean, combining sport, teamwork and personal development in a fun and engaging environment.

The Greenhouse participants demonstrated a skill they had developed through their respective programmes over the past year. At the same time, the CVC volunteers discussed how the STEP skills could be applied and are relevant to their professional lives.

One of our young people, summed up why these experiences tangibly matter: "The chat I had with the CVC team was really valuable, giving me advice on my career choices”

Thank you to our coaches, volunteers and students for their involvement in this session.
