Kindness Workshop
A collaborative workshop led by the Art Department, working closely with Year 12 A-level Art students aimed around our core value of kindness.
The workshop took place at Lawdale Primary School and involved the entire Year 4 cohort.
Year 12 students supported the planning and delivery of the session, guiding Year 4 pupils through a range of creative activities that encouraged reflection on what kindness looks like in everyday life. The younger students responded with enthusiasm and imagination, producing vibrant and thoughtful artwork. Highlights from the session included a large collaborative “Kindness Rainbow,” symbolising inclusion and positivity, and a beautifully designed “Kindness Tree,” where pupils contributed ideas, messages, and drawings celebrating acts of kindness.
The atmosphere throughout the workshop was uplifting and purposeful, with students from both schools working together. This partnership demonstrated the power of art as a tool for expressing and embedding kindness across school communities.
Great work from those involved!
