Year 12 Geography residential to Eastbourne

Our Year 12 Geography students were given the opportunity to go on a 2 day residential trip preparing them for their NEA in A level Geography.  Students were introduced to a variety of methodologies (covering both human and physical geography) for gathering primary data.  They carried out coastal work at Cuckmere Haven next to the Seven Sisters cliffs, part of the South Downs National Park. The human work was centred on Eastbourne.  It was a successful trip which was organised to inspire our students and give them some ideas for enquiry questions to prepare for their real NEA, which will be located in Swansea and the nearby Mumbles peninsula in September 2022.
