On 28th February, students from year 10, 11 and 12 attended a Medical Careers Carousel at the Worshipful Company of Barbers, Barbican. Students were able to speak to a variety of professionals from various areas of medicine, including an obstetrician, orthopedic surgeon, pediatrician and an anaesthetist. In addition, students learned about the Extended Medical Programme offered at Kings College London and gained valuable guidance on applying for such a course. Students found the day interesting and valuable and some of the comments from the students are below.

There was a good variety of professionals to talk to and it made me think about paediatrics as an option which I had not thought of before.
The day was inspiring and informative and I learned a lot.
